Primary Healthcare has always put the community first, and with the recent Covid-19 pandemic, the organisation partnered with the Rotary Club of Ipswich, to buy £4000 worth of protective masks to distribute to care homes most in need.
Prema Fairburn-Dorai, Director of Primary Healthcare, is a member of the Rotary Club of Ipswich and is currently looking to reintroduce the Welcome Home Bags scheme, which was put on hold during the pandemic.
The scheme, which is run in partnership with the Rotary Club, seeks to provide a two-day supply of food essentials to people returning home from hospital, and who do not have relatives or friends to shop for them.
Primary Homecare also runs an ongoing food collection initiative for FIND Ipswich food bank.
